About the presenter (Meet Gavin).
Gavin Seim is an award winning photographer and owner of Seim Studio’s in Central WA, where he focuses on high end wall portraits and fine art pieces. He’s the maker of Seim Effects editing tools, the host of the Pro Photo Show and the man behind f164.com.

A twenty six year old dynamo, Gavin has nearly fourteen years of experience behind the lens. He’s energetic, passionate and known for cinematic high dynamic range images, large wall portraits and refined digital workflow. In between studio work, Gavin takes his wife and two children on road trips, exploring, making images and teaching workshops to photographers throughout the US.

Gavin’s work has been featured in venues such as Rick Sammon’s Digital Wedding Secrets, leading imaging podcasts, Venue magazine, The Good Life, the PPA Loan Collection and more. Gavin loves  experimenting with new ways to leverage dynamic range, light and pixels. Attendees have come from as far as London for Gavin’s workshops. He is passionate about making images as perfect as they can be and he understands how to control quality on a deep level.

Thoughts from Gavin.
LR is toady’s super tool of photographic editing. It does most things faster than Photoshop and best of all, it’s easier to learn. Maybe you’re already using LR, but want to learn powerful new approaches. If you need more efficiency and creativity in your editing, or just want to give it a boost, then this is for you.

This is a fun but in depth workshop where new users will learn the ropes and veterans will learn new refinements and ideas. We’ll talk about everything from leveraging the power of Lightroom in your business to manipulating lights and pixels at a deeper level.

This is no power point presentation. The plan is to fill your brain up, no matter what level your at. It works because we all collaborate, share ideas and follow along. I’ll start at basics and move quickly to advanced techniques while taking on the questions and sharing ideas with all of you while you work along and try things yourself.

What you’ll need: First bring yourself. After that can simply watch, but I recommend bringing a laptop with LR installed. Even if you just have a trial version. Lightroom Power for your Conference:

LR Power is also available as a workshop for your conference or private photo group. The same relaxed session style, but you plan the even and Gavin’s shows up to present. LR power has something for all skill levels, but the presentation can be customized depending on your needs and the experience of students attending.

The workshop can from 3hrs long to a full day. Attendees of all skill levels can get join in and master Lightroom. Contact Gavin to discuss booking the Lightroom Power workshop. Gavin can also offer additional activities such as live shoots, bonus presentations and more as part of a scheduled workshop.
