AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHH!

I've been looking for second shooter with local wedding photographers near me, with little or no luck, Angry one even just put the phone down on me as soon as i said i was near him) therefor future competition! lol BangHead

so after attending a wedding photography course recently. I've decided to start out by my self, just friends and family at first so i can build my collection of kit up to pro spec, and get my portfolio up to date.
i know kit isn't everything but some good glass to start with will be good, plus back ups etc.

anyway , can i think of a name that has an available web address?! no, it's bloody impossible!

these are some names i like/thought of

aperture photography - web not available
dcphotography - web n/a
cornerstone photography - web .com gone .co.UK available
(my names Darren corner yes as in corner of the street/table/room/etc/etc so i quite liked cornerstone?)
cloud9weddingphotography
truleyweddingphotography
dreamsweddingphotography

i wasnt sure really weather to put wedding in the web address in case i expand in the future

anyway there a few ideas i thought of, none of which jump out at me, but I'm not very creative with names for things.

i feel like I'm BangHead here and getting nowhere fast, i want to start my website with a name so i can register a business with that name or a very similar one. but its impossible to get the web address you want these days!

any name ideas guy's would be welcomed!

also can anyone recommend a host? as websites r new to me I'm a little unsure

Well, i am sorry someone close to you was not able to give you a chance.

As for the name, they are good. But here is one to think about.

Cloud 9ine Foto
or
Cloud 9ine Photography
or
Cloud 9ine Studio

Your choice ultimately. But those sure do sound good.

And welcome to the world of photography. If we here can be of any assistance, just let us know.

That's a bummer. It's too bad when people with experience wont share it.

As for names, cornerstone photography is not bad. I have to disagree with fort on this. While his suggestions are kinds cool, though creative names that mix letter  and numbers etc seem to be nothing but a hassle.

The key is short and simple. Memorable is certainly good, but not if there forget how to spell it. Also google. Try to pick a name that is not the same or similar that another business. You don't want to be competing for your basic google search.

I tried to get all creative and fancy when I started as well. I soon realized it just confused people. Why not something clean and simple like Darren Lee Photography, or Darren Lee Images. I think those sound good.

As for hosting I suggest you get an account with host gator. I host all my sited on them. Cheap, functional, and pretty good service to boot.

Remember... SIMPLE SIMPLE SIMPLE! Don;t make it hard on youseflf  headbang
