I am a Nikon shooter, I find it funny that year ago Gavin you were talking about Nikon being behind. My feeling is that Canon will be back in a year. They are a much larger company than Nikon. The Dark Horse to watch is Sony. Nikon is getting their sensors from them. Sony has video, digital still and computers. If they get their act together they will be a player to watch. One of the reasons I went to Nikon  was multi point focus sensor setup. It was so much faster sports and news set ups than Canon. When I shoot the Canon Mark II I found myself using the center focus more than I did with Nikon. Cool
NILMDTS, I think they are making a big mistake on billing the volunteers. What they need to do is figure out a realistic way to fund raise. I think it is great cause but I think they are nuking their own support.  BangHead
I use Mobile Me aka .Mac to setup a secure password protected downloadable gallery it works very well for me and my clients.

Nice comments Metal. You may have a good point on the Sony thing. Their sites are on Pro DSLR's for sure.

Nice gallery

Glad to see the Black Rapid strap getting some "press."  I am really enjoying the strap for use in the field.

I am holding off for my next camera purchase while waiting for the next leapfrog in capabilities.  This is NOT a Canon rumor but they should be almost at the point where live video is captured and stills chosen from the clip.  Casio already has a low rez version of this that can capture 60 fps in their Exilim Pro.

Dallas morning news has been doing that for a few years with panasonic HD and Sony HD. The stills are a great example of good enough, quality really bites.  BangHead I have been shooting video and stills on assignment that whole multimedia thing. There is major difference in shooting stills compared to video. I so far have not seen good results from HD video stills.

What's the site you use for slide shows?  Animodo?  Couldn't understand you on the show #48 and didn't see it in the show notes...Thanks!
