I'm just wondering if any of you out there bring portfolios of your work with you client/wedding consults or see benefits in it?
Some people say that you should always have a portfolio with you, but I've found that if a client is asking to meet with me, then they've already seen my work, know my style, and are more interested in meeting me (and hopefully signing a contract) over looking at more of my images. Also, after looking at albums and product samples - all of which contain my images, having them look through a portfolio might be a little overkill...
At the time of the meeting I'm moreso selling myself and my distinct style that I bring over the images themselves. Just wondering everyone else's thoughts on the matter.
