dimensions of DNG file
« on: November 27, 2011, 01:52:17 PM »
I use Lr3 to backup my post processed RAW files as DNG and jpeg. I don't understand why -every- DNG file gets the (wrong) dimensions (1024/640px) while the jpegs show the right dimensions.
It's not really a problem because the right dimensions are shown insife i.e. photoshop BUT a fullscreen view is not honored in every program for a dng file. Windows viewer has no problems but Fast Picture viewer shows the DNG files as 1024/680 on my screen whether I chose full screen or not.

Is there ANY reason why DNG files have the wrong dimension setting?

Hmm that's odd. I don't use DNG files a lot, but I don't recall having any issues. Maybe someone else will have something more to offer here.

*SOLVED* I found out that it's of my own doing. I have a 'normal sized' jpg preview but I can also set a full sized jpeg preview. That should make the difference ;-) Maybe you include this full size jpeg.
