Reference your discussion about mirrorless cameras.

Sony does make mirrorless DSLRs - the A33, A35, A55, and the upcoming prosumer model A77.

It uses a translucent mirror that allows the light to hit the sensor and the AF sensor at the same time, so that the phase detect autofocus can operate constantly even while the shutter is cycling - or during video.  So if you're doing burst (new a77 sports 12 fps), the AF can constantly track the target as you're bursting, instead of waiting for the mirror to flip back down.

It uses an electronic viewfinder.

Great Job on the lighting rounds! That was a great show.  Scott and Edina are great.  Actually all your guest were great.  I did like everything I think it was Rob the new guy who had shot 5 weddings had to say.  I was right with him.  I am not really planning on pursuing more weddings, but I felt like the two I did I did solid for the price I was paid, wich was was nothing for people who were not going to spend money on someone.  And the Animoto videos I gave were great.  Plus I will be using their photos to get better at editing for ever.  So eventually they will have some sweetly edited photos!  They already have some Seim affects ones delivered, but I am doing my own things now.

Wish I could be on the show today, or call in, but I am driving to Vegas for the Interbike convention.  I am into cycling too!  Overall Keep your standards high, dont bash the newbies for being newbies, because they are now your customers!  I love my Rebel!
