Some REAL Lowlifes Around...
Leeds:
So it's now 1:30AM, and I just got back to my apartment after running around for 3 hours putting up signs and knocking on people's doors. :BangHead: :boxing: :boxing: :boxing:
My girlfriend went to get our laundry from the dryer on our floor at around 11, to find that it's MISSING! Our laundry basket AND our laundry is gone. What kind of people do things like this? My girlfriend lost all of her work clothes, underwear, and soccer uniforms. I luckily only lost a few T-shirts and my team soccer shorts...
I HATE PEOPLE! And to top it all off, this is the second incident we've had in the three months we've lived here. Our second night in this building we had our Rav4 parked in the underground parkade, and we went down to find that someone had shot our rear windshield out with a pellet gun. There were about a dozen other pellet holes in the rear door too.
I HATE PEOPLE!
To top it all off though, we're in Signal Hill, which happens to be one of the ritzier parts of Calgary.... go figure.
Gavin Seim:
Wow I'd hate to be in the calgary slums. Maybe the police need to stop looking for people going 4mph over the speed limit, or not waring seat belts and start doing their job :police: I don't know for sure if that's how it is there, but we sure feel that way around here sometimes... Gav
Leeds:
We just had eight fatal stabbings in nine days here (gang initiations, just random stabbings.) .....
Calgary's not the nice little redneck town it used to be, that's for sure.

I live in a College town in NH and I used to live right on Main Street just a block from the campus. My wife and I lived in the building for 2 year, the first year was great, the second however. The building got REALLY noisy. Our neighbor like to listen to music really loud at 12am. Over the summer the kids got bored and used the side and rear of my car as a bike ramp. One other couple in the building had the Jeep broken into 4 time, thats right 4. And for some strange reason for the past couple years in the beginning of September the crime rate starts climbs. I think last year 5 girls were attacked by a group of guys, one was even stabbed. I so glad that I'm off of Main Street and away from the down town area this year. My wife and I moved the the nice end of town, although a neighbor did have his canoe stolen from his carport a couple weeks ago. I just think all the kids just need to get back in school, there starting to get bored.

Sadly enough, here in texas we are now allowed to shoot them if we catch them.
But Texas is one of the only places that has always had this in effect. If you someone poses a threat to you or your family, you can shoot them. If they run away, run after them and drag them back into the house, or car. But now with this new law they just passed, you can shoot them and no matter where they land.
