Getting Serious > Dynamic Range & HDR
First attempt at HDR
gafphoto:
Hi all I just listened to the 2 HDR podcasts and I decided to finally do the conversion on a group of shots I had been meaning to do. I shot I believe 9 frames to really make sure that I maxed out on highlight and shadow detail. Let me know what you think. Shot with Olympus E-5oo 14-45 lens and raw. Thanks in advance.

Don't know much about HDR, but this looks good. I like the details in it. Very crisp.

Thanks! Listen to podcasts 29 & 30 Gavin does a good job of explaining it!

Hey your on the right track. This is a bit flat though. What you'lll find with HDR is that you have to to quite a bit of editing after the HDR is rendered to get them to look spectacular.
What program are you using?

PS CS2 I had to play around a fair bit to get it this far. The shot was really in pretty difused light and the deepest parts of the rocks were in really deep shadow.
