Orange skin tones in LR
« on: August 23, 2010, 01:31:19 PM »
Hey guys,

I am having a problem.  My images look awesome in Lightroom 3, but when I export into a program that is not color managed, I can see that skin tones are way too orange.  Does anyone else deal with this issue?

First check your monitor calibration. Next try avoid over saturation you might be kicking up your vibrance to high.

Thanks...do you have dedicated color management software?  I have been sticking with the built in color management and have the same problem on a couple of computers.  I have been toning down the vibrance on the batch I am editing today and I'm liking the results better.  Man, skin tones are an art!
