First wedding... Sorta...

I shot my first wedding last saturday... sorta... It was my aunt's wedding (well her second, and the ceremony was only about 15minutes...) and I contacted the photographer they had and she allowed me to follow behind and shoots some myself so here are a few shots I got from the day...

I think not bad. Not great, but you can't expect perfection right off.

I do think you're over processing on a few of them. Processing is good, but best used in balanced way. Heavy processing is not a cover up for a so so image.

I think the composition in a few isn't great, but not a bad job at all for your first 'sorta' wedding.

I really like #8. The processing really works on that one.

Number 2 and 7 stand out to me. Catching the intamate moments at a wedding is pretty important, #2 the focus is on just that. The pose in 7 is nice and relaxed, good composure with allowing space in the photo #8 it might just be my personal taste speaking, so take it for what its worth,  I'm not sold on the effect. Over all great job, you have a good start with wedding photography. With more practice and experiance I can see some great shots in the future. Allot better than I did my first time as a 2nd shooter.  Keep on it :)

I would crop out the other photographer flash;)
It's a tough go on these. Looks like there was another shooter
and you probably did not want to interfere. Nice start though:)
