Really enjoyed this one - thanks Gavin!

You are sounding more mature in your shows than you used to (absolutely no offence meant!)

I think you are on to something with the large prints and I have been thinking the same thing for a while. Certainly I think you have to think carefully about who your niche market is and whether they would go for this. I don't think it is for everyone so a flexible approach might be good.

Thanks Bert. I have been working on the broadcasting technique.

As for that "Nych" market. While it's not everyone I think it's more than a Nych. Look at it this way. Anyone who would consider buying a new sofa is totally a potential large portrait sale if you know how to sell them.

On the other hand if you don't show and expect to sell them you clients will not feel like it's OK do and being done my others.

I liked this last podcast and thought I'd chime in.

Larger prints:  I'm seeing very few large print sales here in Ohio.  I'm planning to order more examples so the clients are tempted more.  Your comment about making it seem like large prints are the norm is important.

Google Adwords and the like:  I spend around $100 a month on Google Adwords and have yet to find a person who comes to me who remembered clicking on the ad.  They all tell me "I found you on the internet".  I can't be sure if Adwords is doing anything for me or not.
Can anyone point to Adwords and say that it's definitely working for them?

Gavin, I was really intrigued by the mention of metal prints in the podcast.  I've been looking for a really unique product for my customers and this may fit the bill.  I tried searching for H&H Metal Prints and found them under H&H Color Lab (hhcolorlab.com).  They don't really go out of their way to list this product and it took several searches to find.

During my search, I found another company (Bayphoto.com) that does metal prints as large as 30"x45".  They are slightly more expensive than H&H for the smaller prints.
